Click here for Disaster Relief and Recovery
Volunteer Mobile provides Disaster Relief and Recovery to the Mobile community and beyond in times of emergency and disaster. Following both Hurricane Ivan and Katrina, Volunteer Mobile worked alongside many area agencies and faith-based organizations to assist victims of the disasters quickly and efficiently. Volunteer Mobile currently hosts Mobile County Long Term Recovery Committee meetings weekly and acts as the fiscal agent for the committee. Volunteer Mobile staff are trained to assist other communities experiencing disaster by creating Volunteer Reception Centers to coordinate the efforts of unaffiliated volunteers. Visit the Disaster Relief webpage for more information.

Over 300 local medical professionals participate in trainings and events throughout the year to prepare for responding in the case of a disaster. Visit the MRC webpage for more information.
